If there's a you out there in another reality, what is he or she (or both or neither) like? What does he or she wear, what does he or she like? Is he or she your evil twin or something else entirely?

Feel free to answer; I'd love to hear.

(The titles below are not part of the meme, just what came to me as I was replying.)

1. The Life I Thought I'd Have When I Was a Teen
I am a prosecutor, married to a corporate attorney who I met in law school. We have two kids who go to private high school, and we all go to church on Sunday. I am a member of Rotary and serve on the board of at least one charitable foundation. I am the epitome of mundane, upper-middle-class decency and prosperity.

2. If-I'd-Had-The-Guts-After-College
I am a Hollywood film director with one failed marriage behind me, current involved with a glamorous long-term partner. My films are critical and popular successes, and I'm known for my ability to combine exciting action with human drama. (This may be my year to get the Oscar!) I have a gorgeous mansion, a small staff, and enjoy formal dress-up occasions.

3. My Post Graduate School Other Self
I am a professor of religion at a small liberal arts college. I am single, and my social life is based on campus events, including taking part in the annual student-faculty theater production. I wear casual clothes and funky jewelery, and on weekends I'm found in the library or used bookstores. I've published my book on sacred prostitution and am starting to do research on urban shamanism.

4. She's Out There Somewhere
I am Seonaid Montgomery, sovereign and high priestess of my family lands, the legitimate heir of both my parents, but struggling to retain the loyalty of the members of my community who are not of my faith. My consort is a former mercenary captain who was once my captor and now serves as my sheriff. I love my land, my goddess and my people, and would willingly sacrifice myself on their behalf.

I've thought of this a great deal. I always figured that I had several "alter-egos" living in the world that were part of me. I would think about this to the point where I wasnt' sure who "me" was anymore. Anyway, I had all kinds of thoughts about this--an average Chinese farm or factory worker, a mom in India, a nomadic arab or Siberian. All kinds of possibilities occured to me.
