It hasn't been cleaned up yet. The green on the walls is sheetrock.

But it's a very pretty sink.

Effectively there's not much difference between the pedestal sink and the one I had before, since the previous one was just stuck on the wall: no counter, no storage space beneath. But in my small bathroom, it works pretty well.

The only thing I don't like is that the soap holder is tilted slightly toward the bowl. This is a good thing if you use bar soap and want the water and soapsuds to drain into the bowl, not collect in a mess -- but I use a hand soap dispenser, and it keeps tipping over. (Fortunately it's plastic.)

That's actually quite good to know - we're discussing replacing our large countertop (that's VERY white and not quite correctly put into place) with pedestal sinks, and we use the soap dispenser thing (because I just feel it's more 'sanitary'). Will need to consider this if we go forward with the plans.
