There is nothing in my life that I regret as much as my marriage.
If I had one thing in my life I could do over, I would go back and make sure I would never marry The Man One Day to Be Known As The Ex.

labyrinthnight says she would regret her ex...except The Child came of their relationship, so she can't really regret him too much.

The Child definitely adds an element of tension to that statement -- but yesterday I was so fed up with still having to deal with the Ex that I wasn't in any mood to acknowledge shades of gray.

(Which really indicates how pissed off I was, because usually those shades of gray are very important to me.)
