My dreams were more fragmented last night, but a couple of images remain clear.

The first was viewing a large, brown adult male buffalo who was enclosed in a small, bare, square room with at least two glass walls. It was small enough that he couldn't take more than a few steps in any direction. I had the distinct impression that he was a talisman, confined in that space so that a group could benefit from his presence in an intangible way. Our eyes met, and I was made to see the awareness in his eyes. There were green fields beyond him, and he wanted to be out there, not confined. I wanted to help him, but didn't know how.

Then I saw a similar room with a huge male walrus in it. The walrus was so big and fat he could barely turn over, and I wondered how the slim young woman who was his attendant (not present at the moment) managed to deal with him. The walrus also met my eyes with awareness, but his gaze was cheerful and lustful.

Need I mention that I've never worked with the energy or images of either of these animals?

A little later in the dream I had another instance of being faced with a bunch of 'things' I needed to take with me somewhere under pressure (see two dream entries ago). This time, I couldn't leave anything behind, even though I could barely get them all into my arms, backpack, purse, etc. and the gathering process was making me late. These items seemed to relate to my day job -- which makes sense. That position is forcing obligating me to pick up and carry with me things I neither want nor need. Also, I was doing the picking up in a room from my junior high school, perhaps implying that I've outgrown the place, and need to move on.
