It's been a long, boring, tiring, stressful day.

At work it was hours of nothing, then several things right at the end.
I was late getting home.

None of my usual childcare resources were available this afternoon, complicating my get-together with queenofhalves this evening -- not to mention complicating it for her and her other hosts. I feel guilty.

I don't know why I'm so tired.

The UPS website has not yet confirmed delivery of a special package that was supposed to get to someone important today.

And I'm missing someone who has also been very busy recently.

*grumble, growl, grump*

How to Improve a Bad Day

1. Have a telephone chat with vsmallgoddess -- even if it was too short.
2. Have a long talk with queenofhalves.
3. Enjoy my daughter being 'on' for company, then snuggling.
4. Getting a hug from lexicat.
5. Lying on the couch and having a phone conversation with _storyteller_.

Off to bed now. . .
