I've been working a lot of overtime this week, and am feeling overwhelmed by my cluttered house (the closet is still under construction, and thus all my clothes are living elsewhere. . .). Still processing my trip, and waiting for enough time and space to write something coherent. My bookshelves are overstuffed and need a new organizing system. I feel a pang when I remember the days when each book on my shelves was a friend, an individual I knew and had a relationship with. Now -- and perhaps ever since mid-way through my undergrad years -- I can't keep track of them all. I find books that have been languishing unread for months, books I'd forgotten I'd purchased. I find books I know I've read but can't remember. I don't like it. This Saturday is ear-marked for some serious overhauling of the house. Mom is coming over to assist The Child in sorting the chaos of toys in the yellow office (which is only fair, because she is the source of so many of them!), while I perform interventions in the living room.

I'm hoping for a substantive entry -- or series thereof -- Saturday evening.

Casting Call:

I think it's inevitable that as we read each other's journals we create mental pictures of each other. Post this on your own journal to find out who your friends see when they read about your life.

Two Rules:
1) The person must be in the movies or on TV (but doesn't have to be an actor/actress). The person can be specific to a role (e.g. Jennifer Elhe's Elizabeth Bennent) or just the person themself.
2) You have to post a link to a picture of said person in the comments. [Or, if you're in a hurry, you can forget the pic. -QoS]

These castings can be based on things in the person's personality or on physical traits you know they have.
