what decade does your personality live in?
quiz brought to you by lady interference, ltd
I had hoped to have made it out of the '80s -- but since I started high school in 1979 and graduated from college in 1988, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that that's the decade with the most impact on my sensibilities. (At least according to this quiz.)
Quick Update
Dec. 23rd, 2004 10:18 pmMy church held its traditional Christmas Eve Eve service tonight, attended by more people than I have seen at any service in the four years I've been attending. I participated by reading the story of the Wise Men.
Afterward, The Child and I dropped by the local mall for a quick trip into Suncoast Motion Picture Company for the last of the Christmas presents. I have to wrap everything tomorrow.
My mother gave me a perm for my birthday. Jeannie and her peers presented me with a $120 gift certificate to Gene Juarez (salon & spa), and a girlfriend at work gave me a belated birthday present today by taking me to have a manicure at lunchtime. I feel like a community renovation project! (But I have to say that I'm enjoying the results.)
Tomorrow morning, I will wrap presents, bake a bundt cake, take The Child to see Ocean's 12, drop by my aunt's home to say Merry Christmas and deliver a present, and then be at my parents' house by 4pm for a 5pm dinner. Mom was absolutely fine about my counter-proposal about the mini Christmas pageant, and while I'm still not looking forward to it at all, I feel better than I did.
And I've received positive feedback on some fiction that I shared recently, which is deeply gratifying.
It's late. I'm tired. I'm going to bed.
