Rising Waters Update

Confirmation from the Ex: the toilet tank is indeed cracked. He's going to have to replace it. Meanwhile, the upstairs folk are flushing by pouring lots of water into the bowl. (At least the toilet is functional.) I'm trusting that he's going to replace it today.

My question - which is mostly academic, since it wasn't my guest or my toilet that was broken - is whether or not he's going to tell the person whose weight apparently broke the toilet what happened. The person was a friend of a friend, who was visiting because the Ex was hosting a new gaming group, not someone he knows well, which makes it more awkward.

Bear Queen

Coincidentally, I recently found this lovely image while 'net browsing. I don't think I could have come up with a better totem image if I had tried. Polar bear is my personal totem animal, and I think that this one, with her crown and her owl of wisdom, surrounded by stars (also an important symbol to me) is magnificently lovely.
