I'm blaming it all on raptures_shadow!
I've been compelled to write "My Very Own Darkly Gothic Poem"!

Imprisoned

Slender beams of moonlight enter
this darkened prison as I kneel,
always hopeful, always fearful,
frozen here,
waiting.

Tortured forms wrought in panes of glass loom as
dust dances in the air,
forming an image in my mind,
searing my naked soul.

Blood on a deathless face.

I raise my head, now embracing
this oblivious darkness.
