Pantheacon 2010 Program Submissions
Oct. 12th, 2009 07:21 pmI've just submitted two proposals for the next Pantheacon.
The first is "Feral Holiness: BDSM & The Sacred" -- a repeat/update of the well-received class I presented in 2008.
I've also submitted "Ereshkigal & Inanna: Sex, Death & Transformation" -- which will cover the ancient texts and cultural roles of the two goddesses as well as an overview and discussion of how they be valuable allies in contemporary spiritual work around sex, death, transformation and boundaries. The boundary part is especially important, but it lacked the "punch" of the title I decided on. The theme of this year's conference is "Back to Basics" and I don't think you can get much more basic than sex and death. ;-)
Next year I'll get moving earlier on putting together a spiritual direction panel.
