Beautiful Gate

I've been working with a gate for the past month or so, and trying to see through it.

This isn't that gate, but it's a fair approximation of what I saw.

And the image is gorgeous and worth passing on.

I've had repeating dream about an image very much like that ... really, very, very much like that. Huh.

Any sense of what (or who?) it is?

I'm still not entirely sure what I'm seeing, although I have some information.

For me, it's not a "gate" per se. It's an entrance, almost like a doorway with the door. Moving in through it is always a commitment to at least be willing to try to understand what is beyond.

It's almost always sandstone, warm browns, reds, golds ... very much golden hued once the light is there. Three entries, the two flanking the larger main entry ... and behind the entries is the rectangular fronts piece. It's not an altar, but it is ... hmmm, a focus, I guess, a place where power resides. Because that's where the Christos is/manifests/is held. Sometimes there is a rectangular pool at the base of that slab. Sometimes it is stairs. Sometimes it is night, and the outside is dark and broken as what is in the picture, but inside there is always light ... so you can see clearly, and make your choice clearly.

I've been dreaming of it, and him, ever since I was 17. Happens infrequently, but often enough so that I know I'm being asked again. And the asking is complicated.

I last had that dream ... maybe a month ago. Right before we had a chance to get together, actually. The dream had changed, but the entry was still there, and the purpose was the same, and the Christos was the same (but always changing) ... the question was different. I knew what they wanted me to choose, and I know what I wanted me to choose ... and I think I've been too chicken to fully embrace the choice.

That was all terribly obscure. I think it's because it's very personal, and I haven't talked about these dreams to anyone, let alone on LJ. ;)

And BTW: my gate -- or that at least the gate I've been directed to find and look through -- is sandstone.
