Claudication is pain in the calf when walking, due to narrowing of the arteries or improper drainage of the veins in the leg. It occurs in approximately 5% of people over the age of 70, and primarily in men. I came across it at the hospital, and had to know what it meant. I'm actually a little disappointed. It's such a pretty word, don't you think? *rolls it around in the mouth* I may make up my own meaning to go with it.
