Yes, Gettysburg is a great movie! It's too bad you didn't see it in the theater, because you would have had the most blissful experience ever--seeing a HUGE line of men waiting to get into the men's room after the movie, and no one at all waiting to get into the women's restroom.
Aside from it being a brilliant movie that didn't feel nearly as lengthy to me as it really was, that was the pinnacle moment, as far as I was concerned. (g)
