(Hardly) Moving
Jan. 30th, 2008 01:05 pmAll the upper management is out of town for an annual summit, which means things are very slow for me.
Tomorrow I get the key to my new apartment. Saturday I move. I still have a lot of packing to do. When I moved last summer I was packing for weeks ahead of time. But this hardly seems real. Fortunately, Wolfling is almost entirely packed, thanks to my mother, who is also wrapping up my knick-knacks. My dad has packed all the books in my garage and living room. I need to pack my bedrooom books and personal effects.
The kitchen stuff will be tossed in bins, carried around the corner, and put away immediately. Ditto the foodstuffs, bathroom stuff, and etc.
Meanwhile, I'm preoccupied by finalizing my class (had a major breakthrough last night!) and just getting through these dreary days at work.
