2007 Survey
Dec. 11th, 2007 07:26 pmBecause I'm too tired, and too full of thoughts and feelings yet to be processed about last weekend, about P-con, about work, about everything. . . It seems a good time to do the annual "first sentence of the first post of each month" survey.
January:
kateri_thinks posted this prayer yesterday, and I wanted to pass it on to my many friends of many faiths.
February: Last night I had the pleasure of eavesdropping while
_storyteller_ and
uncrowned_king helped my daughter create a character for the Prometheus Shadow game.
March: I wasn't expected to be at work until 1pm today so I could supervise the electricans while the Ex's SO went to an appointment. (Oooh there's so much more loveliness after that. . . !)
April: I did my 3 miles.
May: The biggest challenge of preparing for the 3-Day isn't the fundraising.
June: Today, there were rituals of remembrance and release.
July: I chose Boromir for this post because I'm exhausted and in need of help -- but when I looked at his face, what I saw was not so much his exhaustion as his courage and "never surrender" determination.
August: I'm sorry I don't have decks to share with everyone who asked!
September: The daughter has been with her dad since yesterday.
October: I don't usually lie awake at night thinking about Harry Potter stuff, nor about icon-making.
November: I had a very nice day yesterday: both restful and productive.
December: I woke this morning and was surprised to see a dusting of snow on the ground.
