I Have Lost My Cell Phone
Apr. 5th, 2005 09:27 pmWhich is not a good thing in any circumstance, but is particularly bad for me because it is my only phone and my alarm clock.
My Palm has an alarm on it, but I'm not sure it will wake me up.
Fortunately, the Ex's SO has volunteered to set their clock for 5:30am and make sure I'm awake.
(In case you've only recently joined the saga in progress, my ex-husband and his new partner live upstairs in the duplex we own jointly.)
I had my phone when I stopped at Red Robin after working late this evening. But when I called the restaurant a few minutes ago (using the upstairs phone) they didn't have it.
Which means that it could have fallen out of my pocket somewhere in the bookstore or the restroom -- but wouldn't I have heard the clatter?
I've checked in the car -- even going so far as to take the upstairs phone outside and dialing my own number, hoping the ringing would help me find it.
Maybe it's in the parking lot. . . ??? That would be bad. It's raining here.
I work in the Supply Chain of a cell phone company. My situation could be worse. But it's a damned nuisance -- and I have some special photos of my daughter on the phone which I would really, really hate to lose.
Hopefully someone will find it and return it.
I am really, really bummed.
