A Good Day

Had several pleasant interactions with Miss V.

Had my first annual review at this job.
My boss thinks I'm great, wants to work on finding more challenging things for me to do.

Ran directly from review to meeting with Spiritual Director.
Had wonderful 90 minutes with him.

Took myself to dinner at my favorite neighborhood hang-out.
Started writing between entree and desert, and was graced with an experience of deep-connection, or writing-through, where I had the feeling of tapping into something deeper/larger than myself.

Spent 30+ minutes in the car listening to music that speaks to where I am spiritually right now (prompted by a question from my spiritual director).

Spent 60 minutes with my new shamanic teacher.

Came home, found my mom and daughter on the couch watching "Aladdin and the King of Thieves."
Watched that for a while, said goodnight to my mom, read story with The Daughter while cuddling, put her to bed.

Looked up my grade for this quarter: received an A- in Christian Scriptures, despite missing two classes and turning in my paper late.

It has been A Good Day.
