Every 2-8 weeks (depending on our schedules and energy), I meet with three other women from my church for a group we call WIT -- Women in Transition (although in silly moods those three letters can be made to represent all kinds of phrases). All four us are trying to get beyond the 9-5 job grind in order to pursue our true callings. This group has been an important part of my life for the past year and more, doing a lot to encourage me and to help me see clearly as I pursue my spiritual vocation.

We're meeting next week, and our facilitator du jour, in response to a question about "What can we bring for snacks?" Had this to say: A great question deserves a great answer--anything you want to bring! The catch: it has to contribute to who you think you are, your power, your sense of your highest self. No shrimp dip for this crowd. : ) You've got a few days to think about it. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

I read that and groaned. I love to play with archetypes, contemplate tarot cards, and etc. to work with self-image and discernment, but come up with a food that contributes to who I think I am and/or my highest self? One that I can prepare (or buy) and take with me to a meeting in the midst of my schedule?

Anyone have any bright ideas?
