Dance Battle

A dance duel between tap dancers and "Riverdance" dancers.

Starts kind of slow, but becomes wonderful.

Bonus: gorgeous, hunky men having a great time -- always wonderful to watch!

In the unlikely event that I ever direct West Side Story, I'm going to make sure that the Sharks and the Jets have strikingly different dance styles.

Weird that yesterday I'd think to check livejournal...!

Oh, absolutely loved it. Midway through, I was reminded of Hines and Baryshnikov in White Nights.

The exact same thought occurred to me, so I went and looked it up on YouTube after I watched this.

And then, because I was really enjoying watching strong, graceful men moving, I looked up some of Paul Wylie's figure skating performances. . .

It's even better live. (I've seen the show twice live...once in London in '96, once in Spokane in '99!)
