McDonalds.
*sigh
I know it's awful on all kinds of levels, but when I was a kid going to McDonalds was a huge treat, especially when done in the company of my favorite aunt and uncle. Spending kindergarten through third grade in Pullman, where they had no McDonalds, made it an even more desireable treat when we visited them.
My taste for it has been diminishing over the past few months as I've made some lifestyle changes. . . but it's still something I enjoy far too much.

At least as far as breakfast is concerned. McDonald's breakfast was the ultimate good thing back in the day for me, and still is (my mom usually brings me something from there before we go to the Shinto shrine, for example...). Other meals of the day? Not so much...when I work at NAS Whidbey and take my dinner break, it's about the only thing there is to eat, and I don't relish it. (I'd love one of their Asian salads, as it would be healthier, but when I eat a salad, I become a total bovine, and it takes me about a half hour to eat...and as we only have a half hour for break, walking over and back takes about 15 minutes, so thus I can't do the salads...)
Anyway...of fast food possibilities these days, I'd prefer Jack in the Box or Wendy's, but still, the McDux breakfast items are nice...
