My House is a Mess

My kitchen is piled high with dirty dishes, recycling that needs to be taken out, and the rotisserie I have to return to my parents.

Wolfling's laundry is on the floor in front of the washer and drier, half blocking the door to the garage.

My beads and beading supplies are all over my dining room table.

I have recycling piled next to my command center desk, and I need to sort my papers.

I have three or four stacks of books on the living room floor.

I have three additional stacks of books on the stairwell, plus assorted other stuff to take upstairs.

I have piles of laundry on my bedroom floor to do, and my bed should be changed.

My parents' air mattress is still on the floor of my upstairs office -- which does not yet look like a consulting space.

And I was doing so well there for a few months. . . .

*sigh

One of the many things I miss about being with _Storyteller_ is that he used to take pleasure in doing a lot of the cooking and the kitchen cleaning. I did my best to not take advantage of this lovely characteristic, working along side him --- but it's certainly true that it's harder to keep up with things without having a partner like that around.

I still need to buy a really good vaccuum. Wolfling has been trailing a blanket around the living roon that sheds big dark clumps of fuzz all over our light colored carpet. *sigh

:) Yah, my partner would make a good househusband but that's not to be at this point.
