Do You Remember Me Well?
From
southernselkie (with whom I have far too many memories to list):
If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want -- good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

Well, I kind of remember commenting on your pendant, because I was deliberately trying to open up a conversation that might indicate we had some things in common that we didn't with the rest of our co-workers, but I don't remember the group picture.

I'm glad you reminded me!

But I read your paragraph, and it's funny, "memory" seems like an inappropriate word, because I haven't known you very long, and everything I can think of to write seems very much in the present.
Your thesis lives on my desk, and I have conversations with it (or my imaginary you) now and then as I think about my own work. I know...I really should share these with you!
My favorite memory though was our mention of seeing each other at a May Day festival in some previous life times. I am so tickled at how much I know that was true.

You'd be suprised. . .

Yes, you should! Do you still have my email?
My favorite memory though was. . .
Yes, that was wonderful!
