Stepping Forward

I just submitted my resume to the new director of training.

There aren't any positions posted yet, but perhaps my resume will help slant at least one in my direction.

Wow. . . .

I had a lovely visit from an old friend tonight, a woman who has always felt like my personal angel.

In the course of our conversation, I told her about finding the metaphysical bookstore last week and having the conversation about doing readings there.

At which point, my friend -- who knows quite a few people who do tarot and other oracle card reading -- told me "You are the most powerful reader I've ever known."

She has affirmed my talent before, but never this strongly.

The next time I walk into that bookstore -- or any other place where I have the opportunity to present this aspect of myself -- I'm going to have a lot more confidence.


When I asked her to elaborate on why she felt that way, she said that in addition to my intuitive ability, I know the system of the cards very well. She also appreciates that I don't talk about only nice or positive things in a reading; if there's something challenging or hard, I'm honest about it. That felt good.

Rob Breszney seems to be hitting just about everyone this week. I've already seen three or four horoscopes posted in the last day or so. This was mine.


Right now you have what it takes to be a liberator. You can free people who are enslaved to their fears. You could also be a bridge-builder who provides wandering souls with the means to escape from of the middle of nowhere. If you're feeling especially heroic, you might even be able to serve as both a liberator and bridge-builder. To do so would almost certainly require you to be more of a leader than you've ever been before. But if I'm reading the astrological omens correctly, you have more than enough cosmic juju at your disposal to do just that.



Why yes, Mr. B, just yesterday I had a few things to say about fear and the importance of rising above it. And that "bridge builder" thing? Check! Figured that one out several years ago.
