Gone for the Weekend

In about an hour I'm going to get in the car and drive 200 miles south to spend the weekend with My First Boyfriend -- who, equally significantly, was also my best friend for more than ten years. We haven't seen each other since Wolfling was about two years old.

It's a beautiful sunny day outside, I just bought a car charger for my iPod, and it's going to do me good to hit the road and get out of town for a while.
