I'm a Doctor, Not a Rohirrim!

Karl Urban ("Eomer" in the LOTR movies, not to mention warrior roles in the Riddick and Bourne franchises) has been cast as the young Dr. McCoy in the upcoming Star Trek film.

I'm having a hard time imagining it. . .

Okay, Chris Pine as Kirk I can see...

...but Urban is pretty. McCoy is not... pretty. McCoy should not be sexy. o_o

It's covering the first adventures of the original crew.
To be honest, I don't have high hopes for it -- but this one announcement did catch my eye.
