Testimonials: This Time It's For Real

Below is some of the text from a marketing brochure my former shamanic teacher has created for me to inform people about my spiritual direction practice.
Her model for the piece includes a page for testimonials. If you've ever felt blessed -- or merely impressed -- by what you've read here of my spiritual experience and insights, or if I've ever done a tarot reading for you that was meaningful, or left words on your own LJ that comforted you or helped you see something in a new light, I'd appreciate it if you'd take a few minutes and leave some affirmations I could share.
In the future I hopefully will have actual clients to quote, but for now I need people who trust my integrity, insight, and/or compassion, especially in spiritual matters, be willing to publically express their confidence in me.
Illuminating Your Sacred Journey
Each of us is walking a sacred path, one that is absolutely unique to our own life experience. Some-times this path takes us into unfamiliar territory - into deep descents, through purifying fires, over stumbling stones to the very edges of our souls. Sometimes we even find ourselves treading those in-between places where we're letting go of an old sense of self but not yet able to embody the new self that's emerging.
These are the times when we wish we could reach out to someone to help us navigate the terrain, to be a lantern-bearer for us as we feel our way forward, to companion us until we get our bearings again.
As a spiritual director, I am committed to being this companion, to walking with you as you explore the terrain of your spiritual life. I will create a sacred and respectful space for you to:
- Gain a deeper sense of peace as you begin to listen for, recognize, and respond to the voice of the Divine in your daily life
- Empower yourself to heal old wounds around spirituality or spiritual community, and connect to the Divine in your own unique way
- Revitalize your soul and energize yourself by allowing your own forms of meditation or prayer to emerge from within
- Bring joy back into your life by intentionally choosing to explore and nourish your spirituality
- Invite more love into your life as you experience the dynamic, expansive nature of the Divine in everyone and everything around you

Together we will identify the places and ways you already experience the sacred, map the landscape of your personal spiritual life, and then explore new ways to nourish and celebrate your spirituality. I offer:

- Classes, Workshops, and Retreats

About QoS
QoSis a modern-day mystic who has worshipped within several spiritual traditions. The diversity of her experience allows her to draw from the vast richness of the world's spiritual wisdom and practices to offer resources and guidance to her clients.
QoS's credentials include a Masters Degree in Comparative Religion from the University of Washington, and additional graduate level courses in theology, spirituality, and ethics from Seattle University's School of Ministry and Theology and the Pacific School of Religion. She has offered sermons in the Swedenborgian church, designs and facilitates rituals for eclectic spiritual gatherings, and is an ordained priestess in a Christo-Pagan Grail fellowship. She has over 18 years experience reading and teaching tarot and incorporates these tools of Symbol - along with the enneagram and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator - into her practice.
