First Pagan to Breakfast
It's 6:15am and I am the first person in the coffee shop this morning. I didn't plan to be up this early. I was going to sleep until I was awake and rested, but when a residual alarm on my gadget went off at 5:15, I couldn't get back to sleep -- and I did feel (mostly) rested.
We'll see how I feel at 10:45pm when my flight gets in tonight.
There will be more to tell when I get home and am not posting from the gadget, but for now I am deeply grateful to be here: to Oakmouse, for encouraging me to submit the proposal in the first place; to the partners who helped me gain the experience and wisdom and confidence to teach on this subject; to the other friends who have been encouraging me; to the people I've met here for making me feel part of the tribe; to the teachers here; and, yes, most of all to the gods who walk with me, guide me, and deliver judicious kicks to the backside when I need them.
My class is at 3:30 this afternoon. I feel relaxed and confident.
