There are 39 items on my To-Do list, none of which will give me any pleasure or satisfaction to complete.
Some of these are more than two weeks old, but are important enough that I can't just drop them. Some are relatively complex tasks. All of them are either on behalf of others or directly impact others, so my prioritization choices have a direct impact on the ability of others to accomplish what they need to.
And Miss V is back from vacation and annoyed with me because I didn't complete the tasks she left for me (without consulting me first). Ask me if I care.
