Visiting Meme

This is based loosely on [livejournal.com profile] shellefly's meme of "Do you want to know what I would want to do with you?" and on [livejournal.com profile] queenofhalves's visit and our conversation about visiting other LJ friends.

Two questions:
1. Can I come visit you?
2. What would you want to do with me if I did?

I assume that since we're reading each other's journals we would spend time together talking about a variety of subjects we have in common -- or which we don't have in common and like learning about from the other.

Extra points for creativity beyond that obvious response.
:-)

1. Sure!

2. Oh sure, we'd talk (theology and gaming... what a combo!) And we'd probably drink some wine, and maybe even laugh a bit.

And then I'd run a one-off Call of Cthulhu adventure that will leave you and a select group of friends terrified and shivering.

Oh wait, then we'd drink the wine.

The most spiritual place I can think of.

1. Can I come visit you?

Yes, or I can come visit you, or we can meet together at some secret rendezvous point.

2. What would you want to do with me if I did?

I would want to cook us a meal, or go out to eat, and sit down and talk for a while. Just let the conversations carry us to places we haven’t gone yet in email or posting.

If we where here I would want to drive up with you to Sedona and visit some of the mystic sights. Go shopping in the new age and shaman stores. Take a look at some of the very unique churches up in that red rock valley. Maybe spend the night up there or camp and then come back down to Tucson.

I’m sure that far more then anything else our time together would involve talking and exploring each other and how each of us experiences the world around us. I wouldn’t want to take you up to Sedona to see it myself, I have been there. I would want to take you there so that I could see how you experience Sedona. Our conversations would probably touch on everything for Theology, Gaming, Movies, Plays, Books, Jokes, Spirituality and general silliness.

If I ever visited you, I would want to attend one of those silent Quaker services that you mentioned in your previous post. I didn't know they still held those, and I'm so glad to hear that they do.

As for visiting me--I would love for you to visit, though I would need to clean the house up, first. (g)

I would really want to just spend time talking with you and getting to know you. Maybe go to a park or a museum, have lunch out, and go to a bookstore. If it happened to be a night when my coven was meeting, I'd take you to the ritual.

1. Yes, you can visit me. But give me some warning :)
2. Maybe it's a US English vs NZ English thing, but when a woman says: "What do you want to do with me?", what pops into my head ...*contains adult themes* :,) So anyway, on the PG scale, I'm sure a wee "Lord of the Rings" based tour of the beautiful South Island could be fun.

1. Yes, we were just discussing that idea recently.
2. Good meals and good conversation.

1. Yes
2. I suppose that depends what you feel like doing. Though no doubt [livejournal.com profile] godlyperspectiv would make you pancakes. And there would be coffee.

1. Sure! I'll even send you directions.

2. Hm...Sit on the sand with a deck of tarot cards and a picnic, talking and silence and also cruising for beach glass and shells?
Maybe cupcakes too. I'm in the mood for cupcakes...
