Today
Awake at 2am, never went back to sleep.
11-hour day at work.
Tonight, my brain is so fried that there is no way I am going to get the one-page review done for tomorrow's class. Fortunately, tomorrow's class is a night class.
But -- my floor is dry, and the rains aren't as hard as I had feared they would be.
I had a great time yesterday with my friend
bookchick (who has an LJ just so she can occasionally read my protected entries), and she had some great insights, and I did my much-belated birthday tarot reading, which is always better with her unique contributions. I blended my usual Robin Wood with the Osho Zen Tarot, which always gives interesting results (if you do tarot and haven't tried combining decks, I recommend trying it sometime). Boiled down the bottom line, the basic message was Get out of your own way! There was more, of course, but that was the big idea.
One day, I'm going to post entries of substance again, entries with the kind of thoughtful, intriguing, interesting content that (I presume) prompted most of you to friend my LJ in the first place.
This journal is called From the Sublime to the Ridiculous. I seem to be stuck in the ridiculous rather more than usual recently.

You and Barry. . . . both of you wussing out on me. . .
It's ok.
:-)
There are some nights when I feel the same way: even the silly quizzes are too much for my poor, tender head. Especially if I have school the next day.
Speaking of which: I have class tomorrow, and I should be in bed, not frittering away even more time on LJ.
But while I'm here: I received the itinerary. Haven't looked at it closely yet, but I will. Then we can plot and plan. . .

I'm looking forward to more subliminal content. :-)

You'll become aware of the subliminal content soon enough. It takes a few weeks for the messages to fully impact the subconscious.
