Which isn't to say, btw, that I never buy things, even pretty and unnecessary things. But I often make a trade - I buy a new mug, I get rid of a mug I no longer love. That way I haven't accumulated anything extra, I can give the old thing to someone who will love it, but yet I have something new and shiny to play with. :)
