Even at almost-thirteen, she ends each phone conversation with me by saying "I love you."

Even when I've just used our cell phones to call her from my bedroom asking her to turn the tv down in the living room.

She still says, "I love you."

Nice, isn't it! :-) My eldest is 24, and exactly the same. Phone conversations, goodnights, all end in "Love you!" "Love you too!"
