*hug* I love how you write about your spiritual path and honestly, it's inspirational to me to hear how vivid it is but also how you have to work for it. I tend toward indolence generally, and don't yet have Practice as a habit, so reading your blog and that of other spiritual searchers is really encouraging.

Um, I got $70 in the mail today, and I'm going have a blue VW bug living at my house, starting this weekend.
That's my good news.
Also, the curfew in Houston is being pushed to midnight on Friday, which means they're getting something done in the recovery process.

Oh, but it's a gorgeous day here today. Absolutely beautiful. I'm going out to walk in it. At 3 o'clock in the afternoon. For serious. It's breezy. I shall tell the sunshine hello from you.
So this guy goes into a bar. He sees this really stunningly gorgeous woman standing next to the bar and, mustering up his courage, goes over and offers to buy her a drink.
She says to him, "I'll screw anyone, anywhere. I'll screw you at my place, or your place, or this place right here, right now."
And the man says...
"Really? How about that! I'm a lawyer too! Which firm do you work for?"
