Re: "You're a terrible book with a horrible ending that I didn't believe even for a second!"

I felt the same way about "The DaVinci Code." Everything I heard other people ooh-ing and aah-ing about seemed to be ideas and themes I'd been aware of for years -- and much of it based on discredited "scholarship." I have better things to do!
