I just found this oil painting on Epilogue.net and was tremendously moved by it: an expectant -- and obviously much in love -- mother and father.

It's a very nice piece, though I'm not sure I get the mixed cultural metaphor with the clothing. Notwithstanding, I feel I must point out ... those breasts are covered.

This just made me cry. I just recently found out I am expecting my second child and this reminds me so much of how my husband holds me and looks at my belly...even now so early on. One of the most special moments of each day is getting out of the shower or getting dressed and having him rub my belly in awe. This painting captures the father's expression so wonderfully. Thank you for sharing.
