Today is My Birthday!

I am 41 years old today -- which is a really weird feeling.

This age was literally unimaginable to me when I was in my teens and twenties and early thirties. Somehow being "this old" was never real to me.

Now I find out that "this old" isn't that old at all. And being an adult is not at all the experience I had expected.

Anyway. . .

I wish I could take you out for cocktails and birthday cake, and we could while away the night talking and putting the world to rights. I'm glad you're 41, because that means you have many years of advice to offer me, should I need it ;)
