I know what "slash" is -- but what does "ship" mean in fandom terms?

It's an abbreviation for 'relationship'. Geekdom is so time-consuming, we don't have time to type proper words.

*grins* Yeah, but knowing me I'd just go on an ego trip and just use the icons that someone made for me because she was inspired by my fic ;) I'll try and get around to it when I have time.
