Blue, pt. 2

The painting did not end up well yesterday. I didn't do sufficient prep on the wall, so parts are uneven, even streaked. It's definitely going to need a second coat.

Which I realized early this morning I would have to do anyway, because I opted for the wrong finish. The semi-gloss is too shiny for this intense a shade. It should be flat.

In the places where the paint is even and dark, it looks good.

Unfortunately, those places aren't nearly large enough.

I'll do better on the other walls.

Painting rooms is a royal pain in the ass. I feel for you.

OTOH -- you like the blue! YAY!

Deep colors like that will always need a second coat, even the really good paint.
