The painting did not end up well yesterday. I didn't do sufficient prep on the wall, so parts are uneven, even streaked. It's definitely going to need a second coat.
Which I realized early this morning I would have to do anyway, because I opted for the wrong finish. The semi-gloss is too shiny for this intense a shade. It should be flat.
In the places where the paint is even and dark, it looks good.
Unfortunately, those places aren't nearly large enough.
I'll do better on the other walls.
