Good Vibrations

Despite expectations, yesterday turned out to be a pretty darn good day.

I'd tell you more about it, but I'm sick this morning and, having just emailed my boss and immediate co-workers, left a voicemail for Miss Vicki, and remotely turned on my Out of Office email notification, I'm about to go back to bed.

It's so nice to have sick days again. . . .

My Sci-Fi Series

I've done this a few times, but only this morning, after doing the lemming dance on ad_lumen's LJ, did I get results I liked. I particularly liked ladyvivien's double role! Also, this proves that _storyteller_ is a serious actor. I've seen photos of him, and "nerdy" he's not! wlotus, jaynefury, are you in?

I love the image, but I very much want text on it too. The original is in .bmp format, and my tools can't seem to make it look good when I put text on it either before or after converting it to a .gif or .jpg that LJ will accept. Everything goes all blurry.

Could/would one of you help me with this, if I sent you the base?
