Wars Not Make One Great

My primary reason for taking vacation right now (besides needing to break out of the stress pattern at work and re-boot my psyche) is to get caught up on three weeks of homework.

So what am I doing? (Well, I've done some of my homework. . . ) I'm browsing LJ, as I haven't had the time to do in a long while. While clicking around, I found this in jediyinyang's journal, in a Five Question Interview meme, and thought it was great:


Who was the greatest warrior to ever live and why?

Wanted to go with Mahatma Gandi. He changed a whole nation without raising a finger against anyone. But Buddha defeated more than a imperialist occupation and the urge of an entire nation to strike back. Buddha has Greed, Anger and Delusion on his hit list. After that, what opponent is worthy of mention?
