Wars Not Make One Great

My primary reason for taking vacation right now (besides needing to break out of the stress pattern at work and re-boot my psyche) is to get caught up on three weeks of homework.

So what am I doing? (Well, I've done some of my homework. . . ) I'm browsing LJ, as I haven't had the time to do in a long while. While clicking around, I found this in [livejournal.com profile] jediyinyang's journal, in a Five Question Interview meme, and thought it was great:

Who was the greatest warrior to ever live and why?

Wanted to go with Mahatma Gandi. He changed a whole nation without raising a finger against anyone. But Buddha defeated more than a imperialist occupation and the urge of an entire nation to strike back. Buddha has Greed, Anger and Delusion on his hit list. After that, what opponent is worthy of mention?

There is a reason that man is one of my best friends.
He is a great warrior, in all of the ways that you and I would define the word.
